What we treat

Every treatment page tells you what the procedure involves, how many visits it takes, how many days you spend in Tirana and what it costs.

The team

The people who will treat you

You will know who is doing your treatment before you fly, and you will see the same clinician at every appointment.

Why Tirana

Close, quick and genuinely cheaper

Tirana sits two hours from Rome, Milan, Vienna and Athens, and around three from London. There is no visa requirement for EU or UK citizens, the euro is accepted everywhere, and a treatment that would take months of appointments at home is compressed into a few days.

  • Direct flights from over 30 European cities, often under €100 return
  • Treatment plans and prices written down before you travel
  • In-house dental laboratory, so crowns and bridges are made on site
  • One coordinator handling appointments, hotel and transfers
  • A city worth the trip in its own right, not just a clinic waiting room

Before you compare clinics

The questions people actually search before flying

Most dental-tourism pages answer the easy question — is it cheaper. These are the harder ones, answered plainly. If another clinic will not answer them in writing, that itself is an answer.

How much does All-on-4 cost in Albania?

Our published price is €4,400 for the whole mouth with a porcelain restoration — not per arch. It covers the implants, the surgery, the fixed temporary bridge and the definitive prosthesis. Extractions, bone grafting and sinus lift are quoted separately when the CBCT shows they are needed.

How much does All-on-6 cost in Albania?

€6,600 for the whole mouth with a zirconia restoration. Six implants distribute load better than four and are our usual recommendation for the upper jaw and for heavy or grinding bites.

Albania or Turkey for dental implants?

Neither country is automatically better, and any clinic claiming otherwise is selling rather than advising. Compare clinic to clinic: who performs the surgery, which implant system, what the final prosthesis is made of, how many trips, and what the written aftercare says.

Is Albania cheaper than treatment at home?

For multiple implants and full-arch work, usually by a wide margin. But a saving is only real if the comparison uses the same implant brand, the same prosthetic material and the same inclusions. Compare complete treatment plans, never headline figures.

What must a dental quote from abroad contain?

The name of the treating surgeon and prosthodontist, the implant brand and model, the number of implants, the material of the final bridge, whether temporary teeth are fixed or removable, whether CBCT is included, which extra procedures are excluded, the number of trips, and the written aftercare terms.

Is it safe to have implants in Albania?

Safety is a property of the clinic, not of the country. Judge any clinic abroad on four things: the qualifications of its team, its diagnostic process, its sterilisation standards, and the documentation you are sent home with. Ask us for all four and we will send them.

How many days and how many trips does a full arch take?

Two trips. Six to seven days for surgery and the fixed temporary bridge, then five to seven days for the definitive prosthesis, three to six months later. Anyone promising final teeth in a single week is loading a permanent restoration onto unhealed implants.

What happens if there is a problem after I fly home?

You leave with your CBCT, the implant passport carrying the lot numbers, and written instructions — everything a dentist anywhere in Europe needs to service the work. Warranty conditions are given in writing with your treatment documentation, not promised vaguely in advance.

Prices are our published figures for the whole mouth. The definitive plan follows clinical and radiographic assessment.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Safety is a property of the clinic, not of the country. Ours uses the same materials, brands and protocols found across the European Union: JD implants from Italy, CAD/CAM zirconia, single-use instruments and class B autoclave sterilisation. Judge any clinic abroad on the qualifications of its team, its diagnostic process, its sterilisation standards and the documentation you are sent home with.

Rent, salaries, laboratory work and taxes are a fraction of Western European levels, and the in-house laboratory removes the outsourcing margin. The saving comes from the local cost base, not from cheaper materials or shorter procedures.

A crown or a filling can be finished in two to three days. Implants usually need two trips: three to four days for surgery, then five to seven days three to six months later. A full arch normally needs six to seven days on the first trip.

Yes, and you should. Send a panoramic X-ray and you receive a written preliminary plan with an itemised price. The definitive plan is confirmed after the clinical examination in Tirana, and anything that changes is agreed with you before treatment starts.

Write to the coordinator on WhatsApp with photographs. The clinical team reviews your symptoms and advises on the next step. Warranty conditions, where they apply, are given to you in writing with your treatment documentation.
