Treatment

All-on-4 in Tirana

A complete fixed arch carried by four implants, two placed straight and two angled to use the bone you already have. €4,400 for the whole mouth with a porcelain restoration, including the implants and the final prosthesis.

The idea behind four implants

When a whole arch of teeth is missing or failing, you do not need an implant for every tooth. Four implants, positioned so that the two at the back are tilted forward to catch the denser bone in front of the sinus and the nerve, can carry a full bridge of twelve teeth. Tilting the posterior implants is what usually removes the need for a sinus lift or major grafting, which is why All-on-4 is faster and cheaper than the alternatives.

Who it suits

  • An arch where all or nearly all the teeth are missing
  • Teeth so damaged by decay or gum disease that they cannot be kept
  • A removable denture you cannot tolerate, or that moves when you eat and speak
  • Moderate bone loss that would otherwise require extensive grafting

When it is the wrong choice

All-on-4 is not for someone with a single failing tooth. It is also unsuitable where bone volume is so reduced that even angled implants cannot achieve initial stability, in uncontrolled systemic disease, or where a severe untreated grinding habit would overload four fixtures. In several of those cases All-on-6 or a staged graft is the better answer, and we will tell you so.

How the treatment runs

Trip one, six to seven days

  • Day 1 — examination, CBCT, photographs, digital scan, final plan and price.
  • Day 2 — extraction of remaining teeth, bone levelling, placement of four implants.
  • Day 3–4 — a fixed temporary acrylic bridge is screwed onto the implants. You leave the clinic with teeth.
  • Day 5–7 — bite adjustment, hygiene instruction, review before you fly.

Healing, three to six months

You wear the fixed temporary bridge and eat soft food for the first eight weeks. It is fixed, not removable, so nothing comes out at night.

Trip two, five to seven days

  • Final impressions or digital scan and bite registration.
  • A try-in of the framework and the tooth set-up, so the shape and shade are agreed before anything is finished.
  • Fitting of the definitive bridge, in zirconia or in titanium with acrylic teeth.

What €4,400 covers

The published price for a full arch with a porcelain restoration is €4,400 whole mouth. It covers the four implants, the surgical placement, the fixed temporary bridge and the definitive porcelain prosthesis, together with the appointments and adjustments across both trips.

Procedures that are only needed in some cases are quoted separately once the CBCT has been read: extractions, bone grafting, guided bone regeneration and sinus lift. Zirconia instead of porcelain changes the price and is quoted on request. Every patient's clinical situation differs, so the definitive figure is confirmed after evaluation of your teeth, gums, bone, bite and imaging.

Choosing the final bridge

Monolithic zirconia gives the best appearance and the highest resistance to wear and staining, and it is the option most patients choose. A titanium framework with acrylic teeth costs less and is easier to repair, but the acrylic wears and discolours over the years. We quote both so the decision is yours.

Recovery

Swelling peaks at 48 to 72 hours and is more noticeable than after a single implant. Soft diet for eight weeks, no hard or crusty bread, nothing that needs tearing. Painkillers and antibiotics are prescribed. Most patients describe the first week as tiring rather than painful.

Aftercare

A fixed bridge needs cleaning underneath with interdental brushes and a water flosser every day; this is the single factor that decides how long the result lasts. We teach the technique before you fly home and review it at every recall.

FAQ

Questions about this treatment

€4,400 for the whole mouth with a porcelain restoration, covering the four implants, the surgery, the temporary bridge and the final prosthesis. Extractions, bone grafting and sinus lift are quoted separately when the CBCT shows they are needed, and a zirconia finish is priced on request.

Yes. A fixed temporary bridge is normally screwed on within 24 to 72 hours of surgery. You never walk around with an empty arch.

The implants need three to six months to integrate before the definitive bridge is made. Finishing everything in one week would mean loading a final restoration onto implants that have not yet healed, and we do not do that.

No. It is screwed onto the implants and only the dentist removes it, at a check-up, for a deep clean.

Two more implants, better load distribution and a stronger long-term prognosis, particularly in the upper jaw and in patients who grind. All-on-6 costs more and sometimes needs grafting that All-on-4 avoids.
